How long before I notice something?
Everyone is different. Some people notice changes quickly, others more gradually. Be patient.
Where should I wear the patches?
For X39, most people start on the back of the neck or just below the belly button. You can also place it on an area of discomfort.
Do I wear a new X39 every day?
Yes. Daily use is recommended for best results.
Can I shower, swim, or exercise with the patches on?
Yes. The patches are sealed and can be worn during normal daily activities. However, if you sweat a lot, the patch might come off. In this case, you can wear the patches on the inside or outside of your clothing. The patch works through clothing.
Do the patches put anything into my body?
No. They are non-transdermal and work by reflecting your body’s own infrared light.
What are the ingredients in the patches?

Meet David Schmidt
David Schmidt is the inventor of X39® technology and founder of LifeWave. With more than 30 years of experience in science, engineering, and product development, he studied Management Information Systems and Biology at Pace University and has developed innovations ranging from hydrogen and oxygen technologies to advanced energy systems.
His work on emergency oxygen systems for General Dynamics and the U.S. Navy led to his participation in the Navy's next-generation mini-sub program. Inspired by years of research into phototherapy, David developed the technology that became the foundation of LifeWave.
Today, David holds more than 250 patents worldwide, including 70+ in regenerative science and technology. One of his notable inventions, the Double Helix Conductor, combines electromagnetic and non-electromagnetic fields in a unique way.
The development of X39® required more than 10 years of research and an investment of over $4.5 million. More than two decades after founding LifeWave, David continues to advance regenerative science, develop innovative wellness technologies, and support LifeWave Brand Partners around the world.
